On October 6th, the SPACE network presented the results of the pilot project it has been running since 2009. This conference was realised in the framework of and in collaboration with the IETM plenary meeting in Krakow. A part of this conference was dedicated to Travelogue. The Strategic Centre for European Studies (SCES) and ERICarts presented in September 2010 a study about the contribution of culture to local and regional development. The study examined evidence in particular cases of the ways culture-based programmes and projects, supported by the European Union’s Structural Funds, have contributed to economic and social development at a regional and local level during the course of two programming periods: 2000 – 2006 and 2007 – 2013.
On November 27th and 28th, VTi, La Bellone, ONDA and the partners of the NEXT Festival organized a conference on the role of arts and culture in interregional cooperation at Buda arts centre. The full programme can be consulted here.
