On the 1st of February 2012 the 'New Theatre' in Budapest was tranferred to two new directors, who are well known Hungarian right-wing extremists: György Dörner and István Csurka. The director of the New Theatre, Istvan Marta, was fired and actor György Dörner was put in his place. Dörner supports the anti-Roma, anti-gay and antisemitic party Jobbik. He plans to stop presenting foreign plays, which he calls 'foreign garbage' and wants to stage only Hungarian plays with Hungarian directors. Those plays include the work of his friend and adviser István Csurka, who is openly antisemite.
